Fellowships: candidates announced

The Netherlands Heart Institute has announced the 3 candidates for a Fellowship that will present their work during the Congress:

Niels Grote Beverborg

Wouter Meijers

They will present their proposals on Friday 29 June at 11:15. Up to two Fellowships can be awarded. Best of luck to the candidates!

Cure PLN Disease

In cooperation with the foundation “Hartspierziekte PLN” we are again offering grants for innovative ideas to cure this genetic disease. Grants can be €25.000 to €50.000. Follow up funding is possible if your idea proves succesful. Please find attached the full call text: PLN Call 2018

Keynote lecture by Walter Paulus

Walter Paulus, chair of the international scientific advisory board of the Netherlands Heart Institute, has been granted a Life Time Achievement Award by the Heart Failure Association of the ESC.

Prof. Paulus will be presented the award during the congress of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology in Vienna, 26-29 May 2018. During that congres Walter Paulus will give the Filip Poole Wilson Lecture.

We are honoured that Walter Paulus has agreed to present a key note lecture at the closing of our 2nd Translational Research Meeting on Friday afternoon 29 June 2018.

On 28 and 29 June 2018 we will bring togethers basic and clinical scientists to discuss all aspects of translational cardiovascular research. We have invited prominent national and international speakers.
